In the fourth quarter of 2023, France’s virtual pet app category saw mixed trends across key performance indicators. Sensor Tower provided the data for the top five apps in this category, highlighting downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

My Talking Angela 2 from Outfit7 Limited saw a significant rise in downloads, peaking at 32K in the last week of December, a notable increase from 8K in late September. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 65K to 95K in the same period. Revenue for the app peaked at $393K in mid-October, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.

My Talking Tom 2, another offering from Outfit7 Limited, also experienced growth. Downloads climbed from 7K to 22K, with weekly active users increasing from 161K to 189K by the end of December. Revenue figures showed some fluctuation but remained under $100K each week.

Outfit7 Limited's My Talking Tom Friends observed a consistent revenue with a high of $486K in late October. Downloads and weekly active users saw a steady rise, with downloads reaching 18K and active users hitting 214K in the final week of December.

The 1Tap Growth Diary by MISAKI USAMI, while not generating any revenue, had an interesting quarter. Downloads started at 9K and saw a dip to 5K, but ended on a high note at 8K. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 9K, decreasing mid-quarter, and then spiking to 31K in the last week of December.

Lastly, My Talking Tom from Outfit7 Limited showed a stable performance. Downloads began at 7K, with a year-end boost to 13K. Weekly active users ranged from 93K to 96K throughout the quarter. Revenue maintained a level below $140K each week, with a slight increase to $118K in the last week.
